Marvin E. Higgins, 81, of Fennville, died Saturday, March 3, 2007, at Holland Hospital. He was a barber in the Saugatuck Douglas area for more than 50 years. He was a member of All Saints Episcopal Church and the VFW. He served in the Army in World War II. He is survived by his wife, Marlene; sons, Dennis and Cindy Higgins of Kalkaska, Darren Higgins of South Carolina, Shawn Higgins of San Diego, Galen Higgins of Ganges; daughter, Linda Higgins of Corinth, Miss.; step sons, Wallace Bjorklund of Fennville, Wayne and Hanna Bjorklund of South Haven; stepdaughter, Cheryl Adkins of Albuquerque, NM.; many grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Rollo Higgins Jr. of Fennville. Services are 11 a.m. Wednesday at All Saints Episcopal Church, 252 Grand St. Saugatuck, MI, with the Rev. G. Corwin Stoppel officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery Saugatuck. Visiting will be Tuesday, March 6, 2007 from 6-8 pm at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to All Saints Episcopal Church.
