Linda Troutman Obituary

Linda Troutman, 69 of Fennville, Michigan, passed away Tuesday, April 11, 2023, at her home.  Born July 19, 1953, in Staten Island, New York, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Merodine (Banks) Romano and the wife of the late Richard (Crazyhorse) Troutman.  Linda’s life revolved around her family. She was a caregiver to her disabled daughter Danielle, who she took the most loving care of for 34 years, all while working and being a great mom to her other 3 children. Linda spent the last 22 years helping to raise her grandchildren, making sure that they had anything and everything that they ever needed, including the unconditional love of a grandmother. Linda especially loved the holidays. Family time together was never dull. Laughing was one of many memories she gave to everyone. To know her and spend time with her meant you usually left with a smile. Her door was always open and was used by so many that loved and cherished her.

Linda is survived by her three children, Katina (Brian) Savage, Phill (Mindi) Carr, and Steven (Stephanie) Troutman; her stepchildren, Angie (Frank) , and Ricky (Sandi) Troutman; grandchildren; Domanick, Mackinzie, Ryan, Jordan, Allyssa, Alexis, Tony, Olivia, Lucas, Sequioa, Sierra, Courtney (Christopher) Moore, Josh (Lauren) Beasley, Ryan Beasley, Danielle (Darwin),Emily (Greg), Mathew (Nichole), Ashley, Nicholas and 18 great grandchildren.

Her siblings, Virginia (Michael) Bronkhorst and Donald Nelson Jr.

Nieces and nephews; Michael (Melinda) Bronkhorst, Missy Espinosa, Kristin (Nate) Vork and Duane Nelson.

Great Nieces and nephews; Jessica, Jamie, Jayden, Joslyn, Justine, Jaren, Kianna, and Collin.

Stepfather, Donald Nelson Sr.

Adopted children and grandchildren; Fawn (Cameron) Short, Kennedy, Joel, Bailey, Brandon, Daniel, Ian, Joey, Emma, and Ava.

Along with her parents and her husband, Linda was preceded in death by her daughter, Danielle Troutman.

A Celebration of Life is being planned for a later date.
