Faustino Vasquez, 86 of Fennville, Michigan, passed away early Thursday morning, December 8, 2022, at his home, surrounded by family. Faustino and his wife, Mary, shared 64 years of marriage, loving each other and raising a beautiful family together. Faustino was a man of God who had a contagious smile. His sense of humor could make anyone feel like they have known him for years. He was a hard worker and retired after 32 years with Bohn Aluminum. He loved the outdoors and nature, going for long walks, enjoying the birds, tending to his plants, and BBQing with his family and grandchildren. Faustino will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
Faustino is survived by his beautiful wife, Mary; his sister, Ester; 8 children, Esmeralda Klosner, Maricela (Michael) Hodges, Norma Vasquez, Imelda (Bruce) Hafer, Cris (John) Raak, Rita (Daniel) Johnson, Grace Vasquez, and Jerry (Renee) Vasquez; 13 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
He is proceeded in death by his parents, Tomas and Epigmenia Vasquez; son-in-law, Michael Klosner; and 7 siblings.
Cremation has taken place and there will be a Mass in San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church on Thursday, December 15, 2022, at 11:00am with an hour visitation before. Burial will be in Taylor Cemetery by 12:30pm.
