Donald Peter Scurio

Donald Peter Scurio, 88 of Fennville passed away on Tuesday, August 1,2023 at Resthaven Maple Woods in Holland, Michigan. Born April 22, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois, he was the son of the late Peter and Estell (Paintek) Scurio.

Donald enjoyed the simple things in life from deer hunting in his younger days and camping. Donald was an active member of the Fennville High School Alumni and St. Peter Catholic Church. He will be remembered as loving a great practical joke and buying lottery scratch offs but never scratching them. He was the devoted husband of Sylvia for 67 wonderful years and loved his family and furry friend (Lady). Donald will be greatly missed by all he has left to cherish his memory.

Donald is survived by his son, Darrell (Becki) Scurio; his brother, Carl (Mary) Scurio; grandchildren, Ella, Phillip, and Jenni; and eight great grandchildren.

Along with his parents, Donald is proceeded in death by his loving wife, Sylvia Scurio; and son, Donald Scurio Jr.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 10:00 AM, with a luncheon to follow at St. Peter Catholic Church, 100 St. Peters Dr., Douglas, MI. 49406.
