Willis J. McAuley, age 77, of Fennville, MI, passed away Wednesday, May 29, 2013 at Golden Acres in Fennville. Born April 18, 1936 in Pelston, Michigan, he was the son of Willis G. and Pearl (Fought) McAuley. Willis worked at Leigh Products in Coopersville for 40 years, and attended the County Line Baptist Church in Ravenna. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Arthur McAuley, brother James McAuley, and sister Etta McCleary. He is survived by his wife Verda (Wolcott) McAuley, daughters; Vicki Michael of Grand Rapids, Debra and Ronald Kempton of Fennville, four grandchildren, twelve great-grandchildren, sister Helen and Ken Karafa of Spring Lake, MI, sister-in-law Joyce McAuley of Ravenna, and brother-in-law George McCleary of Ravenna. At his request cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be 6:30 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2013 with visitation starting at 6:00 p.m. at the County Line Baptist Church Moorland Rd.
