William E. Rainey, age 80, of Pullman, died on Monday, November 5, 2007 at Countryside Nursing Home in South Haven. He was born in Fennville, Michigan on October 30, 1927 to Benjamin F. Rainey and Leona (Billings) Rainey. he married Arlene J. White on April 12, 1952. He was a retired meat processor. He is survived by his wife, Arlene Rainey of Pullman; three daughters, Yvonne Rainey of Santa Rosa, California, Lu and Ronald Winfrey of South Haven, MI; Karen and James Ebert of Westerville, Ohio, six grandchildren and one great-grandson. Visitation is Friday, November 9, 2007 from l:00 P.M. till time of service. Services are scheduled at 2:00 p.m. at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., with the Rev. James Carrier officiating.
