Obituary

William A. Manthey, age 77, of Fennville, Michigan passed away on Sunday, March 13, 2016, at Freedom Village in Holland. Born August 4, 1938 in South Haven, Michigan, he was the son of Arthur and Audrey (Stein) Manthey. Bill graduated from Fennville High School in 1956, and was a Navy veteran. He worked for Saugatuck Yacht Club for a few years, then worked as a machinist at Rockwell International in Allegan, Michigan for 26 years retiring in 1991. Bill attended the Fennville United Methodist Church. Surviving is his wife of 47 years Linda (Kutack) Manthey, sons; Chris (Mary) Manthey of Ann Arbor, MI, Carson (Amanda) Manthey of Sylvania, OH, grandchildren; Sonora, Lochlan, Cameron, Tate, and Cora. Visitation will be Monday, March 21, 2016 from 5-8 p.m., and memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville. Officiating will be Rev. Gary Peterson, and burial will be in the Fennville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Fennville United Methodist Church P.O. Box 407 Fennville, MI 49408 or the Michael J.
