William V. Jerue, age 77, of Pullman, MI, died Friday, May 21, 2010 at the Hospice House in Holland, MI. Born October 25, 1932 in Streator. Illinois, he was the son of Claude and Irma (Palmer) Jerue. A Korean Army veteran, he worked for Pullman Industries till his retirement in 1994, and was a member of the Casco United Methodist Church. Surviving are his wife of 54 years Barbara, and their children; Daniel and Julie Jerue of Coloma, Douglas Jerue of Pullman, Gary and Sharon Jerue of Ravenna, and Deborah and Terry Smith Jr. of Lacota, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law Marjorie Jerue of Stanwood, MI. He was preceded in death by two brothers Robert and Richard Jerue. Visitation will be Monday, May 24, 2010 from 6-8 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville, and funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 25, 2010 at the Casco United Methodist Church, with Rev. David Meister officiating. Burial of cremains will be in McDowell Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland, or the charity of ones choice.
