William J. "Bill" Brady, age 88, passed away on June 14, 2012 at Hospice House of Holland in Michigan. Born in Chicago, as a boy he enjoyed spending his summers in Saugatuck, MI. Bill spent his career as a salesman for SKIL and Rockwell Tools; he was extremely handy and excelled at woodworking. Passing on Flag Day was a fitting tribute to his patriotic spirit. He proudly served in the United States Army Air Force during WWII, completing 25 missions as a radio operator on a B-17 Bomber. He maintained close contact with his crew for 70 years. He was pre-deceased by his former wife Mary, and is survived by 2 sisters - Marj Barry of Chicago and Rita Thickpenny of Grays Lake, Illinois; 4 daughters - Marianne Carter of Middletown, DE, Peg Eitl of Collegeville, PA, Barb Lutz of Pottstown, PA, and Kathy Shea of West Chester, PA; a son, James Brady of Merchantville, NJ; 6 grandchildren (Joe, Jason, Lacey, Jeremy, Allie and Meghan) and several nieces and a nephew. Burial will be private.
