Willemina (Wil) Alderta Passchier, 78, of Grand Rapids, MI passed away Monday, November 24, 2025, peacefully at Holland Home. Born July 17, 1947 in Voorthuizen, the Netherlands, she was the daughter of the late Willem and Maria Johanna (Vermeulen) Vonhof and the wife of the late Pieter H. Passchier. In her early twenties, Wil worked as a flight attendant. As a young military wife, she loved to travel with her husband wherever he was stationed in the world. As a mother, Wil would travel with her husband and three children between the United States and Europe, creating a warm and welcoming home. Wil had many interests, from cooking, volunteering at church events, teaching Dutch to Americans stationed in Europe, to traveling to new places. Wil was also an accomplished organist and played in many cathedrals and in churches she attended over the years.

Willemina is survived by her sons, Raymond (Christine) Passchier and Gregoor (Heather) Passchier; son-in-law, Gilad Ouazan; sisters Tineke (Henk) Vossegat-Vonhof and Margriet van de Kuilen-Vonhof; and brothers Wim (Henriette) Vonhof, Henk (Rian) Vonhof, Tjeerd Vonhof, Marinus (Annelies) Vonhof, and Bram (Wilna) Vonhof; and her granddaughters, Anneliese and Lillian.  Along with her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Wilma Ouazan.

The family will receive friends at Community Church of Douglas on Monday, December 8, 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM with a funeral service beginning at 11:00 AM.  Burial will follow in Plummerville Cemetery.
