Willard "Wayne" King, age 74 of Grand Junction, MI died Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Holland Community Hospital. Born October 6, 1934 in Muncie, Indiana, he was the son of John William King and Lillie Ann King (Coder). He retired from the HJ Heinz Company and also attended the Bravo Christian Reformed Church. Surviving are his wife, Shirley King of Grand Junction, sons, John and Ronda King of Fennville, Willard and Kim King, Jr., of Martin, Richard and Melissa King of Dorr; daughters, Mary L. Carpenter of Fennville, Carol Ann King of Holland, Peggy and Gary Pendergrass of Gadsden, Alabama and Bonnie and David Beagle of Pullman, 27 grandchildren and many great grandchildren. Two sisters, Mazie Decker of Florida and Shirley Emmons of Texas. A luncheon will be held at the Bravo Christian Reformed Church at noon prior to visitation. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, September 23, 2009 from 4-7 P.M. at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W.
