Wahneta "Rose" Stennett went to be with the Lord on August 12, 2014. Rose was born February 25, 1935 to Orvel and Helen (Dee) Musser in Williamsport, IN. She was united in marriage to Charles Stennett on September 18, 1953. Rose was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She was an avid gardener, enjoyed canning, sewing, quilting and knitting. Rose led an active church life serving the Lord and especially loved Vacation Bible School. She worked in accounting most of her work years, most recently serving as Casco Township Treasurer. She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Mary Johnson. Rose is survived by her husband of 60 years Charles, brother George Musser of South Haven, sisters Olive Clemons of Arkansas and Patty Pierson of Spring Lake, brother-in-law Ben Johnson of South Haven, four children Tim and Linda Stennett, Andy and Denise Stennett all of Fennville, Julie (Stennett) Missias of Portage and Jim and Susan (Stennett) Vance of Wyoming, MI. Also surviving are 10 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be held Friday, August 15, 2014 at Casco United Methodist Church, Revs. David Meister and George Fleming, officiating. Interment McDowell Cemetery. The family will meet with friends at Chappell Funeral Home on Thurday, August 14, 2014 from 6-8 PM and on Friday at 10 AM at the church.
