Viola Elaine Monique,76, died Thursday, Oct. 14, 2004, at Holland Hospital. She was born in Allegan and married Lawrence Monique Sr, who preceded her in death in l99l. She resided in Fennville and was a teacher for Hamilton, Douglas, St. Peter's and Fennville schools. She attended Fennville United Methodist Church. She is survived by her children, Larry Monique Jr., Michael and Karen Monique, Robert Monique, and Marc and Kelly Monique, Rosanne, and John Atkins, and JoAnn and Rick Monique-Bushee, all of Fennville; l2 grandchildren; l5 great-grandchildren; brothers, LeRoy and Molly Austin of Allegan, and Kenneth and Lynn Austin of Chicago; sisters, Marion Engel of Saugatuck and Lillian Longsdorf of Florida. A memorial service is 7 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2004 at the Fennville United Methodist Church, 5849 M-89. Memorial may be made to Fennville Public Schools.
