Victor A. Huyser, age 87 of Fennville went to heaven on Wednesday, June 1, 2016,leaving behind his loving wife Wava, children; Victor Jr., Wesley, Yvonne (Huyser) Groover, Judy and Daniel Bryant, Nancy Gersonde, John Gersonde Jr., Mark and Laura Gersonde, Tom Weimer, Jim Weimer, grandchildren; Kassandra Khenavong, Travis Groover, Cameron Groover, Cori and Justin Sandoval, Kailey and Josh Jacobs, Joscilyn and Dave Miliusis, Amanda Billings, Seth Billings, Bethany Gersonde, John Gersonde III, Tori Gersonde, Brooke and Erik Kellum, Michael Weimer, Joshua Weimer, Tiffany Weimer, Jessica Weimer, and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one son Mitchel Huyser. When Vic married Wava he had three children and Wava had six, that was a lot to take on. People wondered if he was that in love, or if he had a mental disorder. He was a hardworking, loving man, and a legendary hunter, fisherman and trapper, ask anyone that knew him. Vic was a US Army veteran serving during the Korean War. He also enjoyed racing stock cars, running marathons, and growing a huge vegetable garden to supply his family, church family, and strangers He will be greatly missed by his family and loved ones until it is our turn to go to heaven. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Saturday, June 11, 2016 at the Saugatuck United Methodist Church. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland.
