Vera Kathryn (Watkin) Heintzman, On October 7, Vera went to her eternal home on angel wings. She was born on April 26, 1938 to the late Roy Watkin and Mildred (Metcalf) Watkin in Gladwin, Michigan. Vera will be remembered for her laughter, love of family and friends, and her unwavering faith in God. Vera married the love of her life, Caryle, in the beautiful state of Hawaii on December 21, 1956. Whenever you asked her how she was, she would say, "If I was any better, I'd be in Hawaii!" She leaves her loving memories to be cherished by her devoted husband of 57 and a half years, Caryle, loving children, Janice (Patrick) Walburn, Linda (Allen Hodder) Lipp, Karen (Renee Robbins) Heintzman, Curt (Wende) Heintzman; adoring grandchildren Samantha Walburn, Megan (Travis) Tucker, Morgan Lipp, Lily, Briar, and Ryder Heintzman; adorable great-grandsons Connor Tucker and Henry Walburn; loving sisters Becky (Skip) Altenburg of South Haven, MI, Dixie (the late Arlen) Janke of Albuquerque, NM, sister-in-law Pamela Watkins of Hesperia, CA, brother-in-law John Smith, brother-in-law Joseph Heintzman Jr. of Rochester, NY, brother-in-law Raymond (Maria) Heintzman of Largo, FL, Kathy Heintzman of Jamestown, NY, several nieces and nephews, and many other family and friends. Vera was preceded in death by brothers Albert, Jimmy, and David Watkin, brother-in-law David Heintzman, sisters Jane Smith and Nancy Barber, and sister-in-law Beverly Linstrom. A celebration of her life will be held on October 25, 2014 at Gobles Elementary Gymnasium at noon. Luncheon to follow at Gobles Driftbuster's Club.
