Trevah A. Hartsuiker, age 79, of Holland, Michigan formerly of Fennville, passed away suddenly of natural causes on Monday, February 15, 2016 at her home. Born August 24, 1936 in Holland, Michigan, she was the daughter of Julius and Julia (Bruischat) Drost. Trevah lived in Fennville for most of her adult life, was active in many school activities and also volunteered at Holland Hospital for over 20 years. She and her husband owned and operated P.T. Hart Corporation, MiniMade Services and West Michigan Flocking in Fennville. She enjoyed gardening, yard work, spending winters in Florida and was an avid clown collector. Trevah is survived by her husband of (almost) 58 years, Pete Hartsuiker, daughter Christyne and Larry Overbeek, mother Julia I. Drost, all of Holland, sister Alyce and Paul Gronevelt of Fennville, brother William and Marla Drost of West Olive, and brother Wesley and Betty Drost of Holland, Mr. & Mrs. Paul Payne, sisters-in-law Lois and Thelma Hartsuiker, cousins and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, her brother and sister-in-law Dallas and Diane Drost, and brothers-in-law James and Robert Hartsuiker. Memorial donations may be made in Trevah's name to the American Cancer Society's Hope Lodge-Grand Rapids, 129 Jefferson SE, Grand Rapids, MI 49503. A visitation will be held on Monday, February 22, 2016, from 4-6 p.m. at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI 49408. A family memorial service is being held Tuesday, February 23, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. Trevah will be laid to rest in Fennville Cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. Deb Yurk from Trinity Reformed Church.
