Theo E. Wells, age 86, of Fennville, Michigan passed away at his home on Friday, February 26, 2016. Born February 26, 1930 in Drasco, Arkansas he was the son of Robert Eaton and Zylpha Wells. Theo married his wife Wincie McCarty on October 9, 1948 in Heber Springs, Arkansas. They moved to the Fennville area in 1956. He was a Baptist minister from 1958 till the present day, and a member of the Lacota General Baptist Church. Theo worked for Holland Hitch for 21 years, retiring in 1987. He always enjoyed having a big garden, and sharing it with his friends and relatives, and also loved to spend time with his family, do some fishing, and watch baseball. Surviving is his wife Wincie, children; Jay and Debbie Wells, Peggy Sue O'Neal, Cindy and Ed Long all of Fennville, ten grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, four great great-grandchildren and a sister Marlene and Doug Thomas of Drasco, Arkansas. Memorial donations may be made in Theo's name to Lacota General Baptist Church, 24990 60 1/2 St., Bangor, MI 49013 or Hospice of Holland, 270 Hoover Blvd., Holland, MI 49423. Visitation will be Monday, February 29, 2016 from 6-8 p.m. and funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 1, 2016, at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville.
