Silvi Lind (Luhtjarv) Nash, passed surrounded by the love of her family in South Haven, Michigan. Born on August 30, 1953, in Winchendon, Massachusetts to her late parents Endel and Erna (Daneliuk) Luhtjarv. Silvi left a legacy of love and service, marked by her faith in Jesus Christ and devotion to her husband and family. She spent much of her time-sharing God's message through mission work and caring for those less fortunate around her. She received great joy serving in her favorite church, New Life Community, in Irmo, South Carolina. A spirited soul, Silvi cherished every moment with her beloved husband, Harry Nash, and their children, Creg (Celinda) Nash, and Brian Nash. She was a beacon of love and joy for her grandchildren Luke, Payton, Gabe, and Liam, who were the light of her life. Her faithful dog, Lucy, a cherished companion, left this world early to ensure she would be waiting for her beloved master when she went home to glory. Her siblings Richard, Jack, Roland, and Carl Luhtjarv will carry fond memories of Silvi's gentle presence in their hearts. Silvi leaves behind a world brighter for her having been in it. Unfailing in her love and service to her family, she created a legacy of strength and faith for her children and grandchildren. Silvi's spirit, a harmonious blend of warmth, generosity, and zest for life, will be profoundly missed by all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Preceded in death by her parents, Endel and Erna (Daneliuk) Luhtjarv and sister Endla Roark.

Silvi's funeral service will be on Friday August 2nd from 11:00am – 12:00pm with an hour visitation beforehand at Chappell Funeral Home located at 637 West Main Street, Fennville, MI 49408. Interment to follow at Stephenson Cemetery.
