Shirley Ann Jipping, age 75, of Hamilton, Michigan, passed away on Wednesday, June 15, 2016 at Allegan Country Estate. She was born October 8, 1940, in Allegan, Michigan, to Lewis and Wanda Lantz, who preceded her in death. Shirley was a telephone operator for many years. She was well known while and after working at the Hamilton Veterinary Clinic. She truly loved her job and those she worked with. She had a love for all animals, but especially her own dogs and horses. Shirley will be especially missed and forever loved by her husband of almost 54 years, Dale, and her shih-tzu, Mikey. Son, Jeff (Cindy) Carns, of Traverse City; brother and sister-in-law, Fred (Margie) Lantz; nieces, Mandi Lantz, Linnay (Josh) Minnard; and nephew, Mark Lantz; sisters-in-law, Marlene Tyink and Leola Rose; several nieces and nephews will always carry her in their hearts. Shirley was generous and thoughtful. She was loyal and loving to her family and friends. A special thank you to Sheila Dever and those who work with her at Allegan Country Estate, and Allegan Hospice for caring for and loving Shirley and her family and friends far beyond expectation.
