Shirley Florence Clark, 84, of Holland, died Sunday, Dec. 3, 2006, She was born in South Haven, she was a member of First Congregational Church in Saugatuck and worked as a medical technologist. She served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Surviving are her husband, James I, Clark of Holland; children, Brian and LaVonne Clark of Hamilton, Michael Clark of Spring Lake, Terry and Jody Clark of Lexington, Ky., James and Linda Clark of DeMotte, Ind., Robert Clark and Karen Webster of St. Louis, Mo., Richard and Patti Clark of Sturgis, Mrs. Jeff & Rebecca Franks of Cleveland, Ohio; 20 grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; four great-grandchildren. Visitation is 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, Michigan. Services are ll a.m. Thursday at the First Congregational Church in Saugatuck with Richard J. Hafferman officiating. Burial will be in Fort Custer National Cemetery.
