Shane Lee Smith, age 54, passed away at Trillium Woods in Byron Center, Michigan, with his family by his side. Shane is the son of Gary L. (Lula) Smith and Cheryl L. (Mike) Hennessy. Shane loved to work on vehicles, spend time in the garden and loved his two dogs, Butch and Shirley. Along with his parents, Shane is survived by his sister, Michelle Turner; niece, Corinne; and great-nephew, Hayden. Shane is preceded in death by his grandma, Arleen Patterson. Interment will take place at the Dewitt City Cemetery. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
