Seretha Ann Merritt, 52, of Fennville, MI passed away Wednesday, October 23, 2019 at her home surrounded by her family. Born January 21, 1967 in Danbury, NC, she was the daughter of the late Paul Lenzy Merritt and Ada Lee Bishop and was the longtime companion of Bennie "Butch" Latham. Seretha was a dedicated member of Fennville United Methodist Church. She loved to spend time in her garden and canning vegetables. She also enjoyed being outside, especially at the beach or fishing. Spending time with her children and grandchildren was her greatest joy, however. In addition to Butch, Seretha is survived by her daughters, Kendra Browder and Missie Latham; stepdaughter, Melody Warren; and five grandchildren, Christian, Nova, Payton, Isaiah and Lana. Along with her parents, Paul and Ada, she was preceded in death by her brother, Paul E. Merritt. A memorial service will take place at Fennville United Methodist Church on Saturday, November 2, 2019 at 2:00 PM with visitation for one hour prior. Service Details.
