Sarah L. Herrera, 85, of Kalamazoo formerly of Fennville, Michigan passed away Monday, July 20, 2015 at her sons' home. Born July 14, 1930 in Wharton, Texas she was the daughter of Policarpio and Rafaela (Martinez) Lopez. She lived in the Fennville-Bravo area with her husband for many years, running the Andres Grocery in Bravo. Sarah was a member of the San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church. She was preceded in death by her husband Andres M. in January 2013, infant daughter Sally, grand-daughter Lisa, great-grandson Max, 3 brothers, 2 sisters and her parents. Surviving are her children; son Andres and Cheryl Herrera of Kalamazoo, Michigan, daughter Guadalupe & Guadalupe Alejos of Kentwood, Michigan; 5 grandchildren, 9 Great-grandchildren, 2 brothers and 2 sisters. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 26, 2015 from 2-4 P.M. at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main Street, Fennville, Michigan. A funeral mass is scheduled Monday, July 27, 2015; 2:00 PM at San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church in Pearl, Michigan with Msgr. Michael D. Hazard and Fr. Fabio Garzon officiating.
