Santos R. Hernandez, age, 70, of Fennville, died Wednesday, November 28, 2007, Holland, Michigan. Born in Weslaco, Texas to Apolonio Hernandez and Josephine (Rodriquez) Hernandez, he retired from Bohm Aluminum and attended San Felipe de Jesus Catholic Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Aurora, October 5, 2007, son, Alonzo; one grandson, and three brothers. Surviving are his children, Jaime and Mary Hernandez of Milton, Florida, Esmeralda Garcia of Homewood, Illinois, Letty and Doug Smith of Holland, Victor and Alicia Hernandez of Fennville, and Martin and Lisa Hernandez of England; nine grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Guadalupe and Laura Hernandez and Basilo and Eva Hernandez; sisters, Bertha and Refugio Cavazos, and Eluteria and Antonio Rivera. Services will be Monday, December 3, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at Chappell Funeral Home in Fennville, with Deacon Maximino Rodriguez officiating. Visitation will be l:00 p.m. until service time on Monday. Burial will be in Fennville Cemetery.
