Sandra Mae Bale, age 76 of Fennville, Michigan died Thursday, January 26, 2012 at the Hospice house in Holland, Michigan. Born January 19, 1936 in Saugatuck Township, Allegan County, MI, she was the daughter of James and Audrey (Allen) Hirner. A life long area resident, Sandy graduated from Fennville High School in 1954, and married her husband Clare Bale on February 19, 1955, she was a homemaker and did house cleaning in the area for many years. Surviving is her husband Clare, children; Deborah (Terry) Clearwater of Brighton, MI, Susan (Crieg) DePree of Holland, Edwin (Laura) Bale of Fennville, Douglas (Sandra) Bale Fennville, eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, sisters Betty (John) Marcus of Grand Rapids, and Sylvia (Don) Scurio of Fennville. She was preceded in death by one sister Jean McKee. Memorial services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, January 28, 2012 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, with Ms. Marcia Tucker officiating.
