Sally J. Bell, age 77, of Fennville, Michigan passed away Thursday, January 21, 2016 at her residence. Born December 7, 1938 in Fennville, she was the daughter of Lawrence and Helen (Bale) Hutchins. A lifelong resident of Fennville, Sally was active in the community as a volunteer at Fennville Public Schools. She was a homemaker to her family, but also enjoyed working at the Fennville Herald Newspaper. Most of all Sally was friendly to everyone that she met, and you could always count on her waving and saying "Hi". She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Max Hutchins. Sally is survived by her husband Lester Bell of Fennville, MI; children Daniel and Julie Bell of Hamilton, MI, Julie and Brian Evans of Baroda, MI, Tom Bell of Fennville, MI, Becky and Tony Lungaro of Fennville, MI; Step-Children, Judy and David Thompson of Prudenville, MI, Pam Bell of Westey Chapel, FL; 12 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings Marilyn Nye, Jim Hutchins, Dale Hutchins, Joann McElyia, Richard Hutchins, David Hutchins, Keith Hutchins, and Connie Giles. Memorial donations may be made in Sally's name to Fennville High School Alumni Association, 5 Memorial Dr., Fennville, MI 49408. Visitation will be held on Monday, January 25, 2016 from 6-8 P.M. and memorial services will be 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 26, 2016 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W.
