Ruth I. Welsch, age 90 of Fennville, Michigan passed away on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at her residence. Born June 28, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio she was the daughter of Arthur and Irene (Niebus) Buschman. Ruth was a longtime resident of Fennville, moving from Mokena, IL over 41 years ago. She was one of the founders of Fenn Valley Winery in Fennville, and had worked as a school teacher for many years prior to coming to Michigan, and was a member of Community Church Douglas. Ruth is preceded in death by her husband William W. Welsch on August 6, 2010, daughter-in-law Lynn A. Welsch on May 25, 2011, and her parents. She is survived by her four children; son Douglas and Celita Welsch of Fennville, daughter Kedra Hull of Manhattan, IL, daughter Deborah and Stephen Webster of Grand Rapids, MI, and daughter Diana Welsch of Holland. Also surviving is her four grandchildren; Justin, Gwendolyn, Erin, Andrew; and 5 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Community Church Douglas, with a visitation to start at 9:00 AM. Dr. Daniel N. Miller will be officiating.
