Ruth Esther Leach, age 86 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Thursday, June 7, 2012 at her son's home. Born September 16, 1925 in Jenison, Michigan she was the daughter of Roy E. and Jennie (DeWind) Hosteter. Ruth was a homemaker and lived most of her life in the Fennville area. Surviving are her children; Alphaeus and Phyllis Leach, Nathan and Diane Leach, Jeffrey and Kathleen Leach, Timothy and Rebecca Leach and Sara and Ronald Merriam; 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren, two brothers, Charles Edward Hosteter and Robert J. Hosteter, and three sisters, Mary A. Patchen, Martha, Cummings, and Verna B. McCoy. She was preceded in death by her husband Andrew Riley Leach, son Quintin Leach, and one daughter Janna Leach. A private family service will be held, and burial will be in the Fennville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to Hospice of Holland 270 Hoover Blvd Holland, MI 49423.
