Ruth Mary Kenney, age 88 of Saugatuck, Michigan passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 in Holland, Michigan. Born February 10, 1926 in Beaver Falls, PA, she was the daughter of John and Rose (Bier) Schneider. Ruth was a long-time Saugatuck resident, and a member of St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Allendale, MI and a member of the Third Order or St. Francis. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband Richard Kenney, daughter Mary Alwan, and her brothers and sisters. Surviving are her son Stephen and his wife Jean Kenney of Saugatuck, son Matthew and his wife Beth Kenney of Sterling, Virginia, son-in-law Dr. Rick Alwan of Lemont, Illinois, grandchildren Maureen, Rachel and James Kenney, Christine and Anne Marie Alwan, as well as several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Thursday, August 14, 2014, from 10:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., with Mass at 11:30 a.m., at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, Michigan. Officiating will be Fr.
