Ruth Mae Jones, age 96, of Fennville, died suddenly May 16, 2009 at Oak Crest Manor in Holland. Born Nov. 9, 1912 in Shelby, MI, she was the daughter of Leo Benjamin Plummer and Laura Easter Plummer. A graduate of Olivet College, Ruth was a retired Illinois school teacher, and a member of the First Congregational Church in Saugatuck. She was preceded in death by her husband Rolland W. Jones in July of 1989. Surviving are her sons Rodney Jones and his wife Rachel Johnson of Brainerd, Minnesota and Philip Jones of Jenison, MI. Grandchildren; Tamara Jones, Rebecca Bunkelman, Pam McElmeel and Russell Jones. Memorial services will be 10:00 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2009 at the Chappell Funeral Home Fennville, with Rev.
