Rosemary Platz Voelker, 74, of Fennville, died Thursday, June 8, 2006, in Hospice House of Holland. Born in Chicago, she was a homemaker and attended St. Peter's Catholic Church. She lived in the Fennville area for past l2 years, coming from Marengo, IL. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Matthias Platz, and by her second husband, Herbert Voelker. Surviving are her children, David and Nancy Platz of Buffalo Grove, Ill., William Platz of Fennville, Peter and Deborah Platz of Mt. Prospect, Ill., Robert and Patricia Platz of Des Plaines, Ill., and Victor Platz of Wheeling, Ill., l5 grandchildren; one great-grandson; and sisters, Shirley and Erwin Zalon of Morton Grove, Ill, and Ruby and Kenyon Levenson of Lake Isbella, Calif. Services are 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, at St. Peter's Catholic Church in Skokie, IL, Burial will be in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines. Visitation is 5 to 9 PM. Monday at the Haben Funeral Home in Skokie, IL.
