Rollo Higgins, Jr. 86, of Fennville died Sunday, February 17, 2008 at his home. He was born October 19, 1921 in Allegan County, Michigan to Rollo Higgins Sr. and Violet (Thompson) Higgins. He married Juanita L. (Young) Higgins on November 23, 1974. He was a retired Sheet Metal worker in Heating and Cooling. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and was a member of the Fennville V.F.W. Post #7911. Surviving are his wife, Juanita L. Higgins of Fennville, Michigan; two sons, Larry Higgins;, and Jeffrey Ash of Douglas, Michigan; two daughters, Mary Ann Guilfoil of Douglas, Michigan; and Janet Kimball also of Douglas, Michigan; and 4 grandchildren. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Services are Thursday, February 21, 2008 at 2:00 P.M. at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, Michigan with Mr. John Decker officiating. Burial will be in Fennville Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Fennville V.F.W. Post #7911 or Hospice of Holland.
