Rollas "Red" Martin , age 79, of Fennville, MI, died Monday, Sept. 1, 2008 at his daughters home. Born April 17, 1929 in Grays, Kentucky, he was the son of Fred and Myrtle(Hart) Martin. He lived most of his life in the Holland and Fennville area, retiring as a supervisor, after 44 years of work at Holland Wire Products-Hickory Springs, in Holland. Surviving are his children; Kathleen Hamilton of Fennville, Mary and Philip Warner of Fennville, and Melissa and Tom Weimer of Pullman, MI. Nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren; and two brothers Charles Ray Martin of West Olive, and Fred Martin of Holland. Funeral services will be 3:00 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 6, 2008 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, with Rev. Dennis Myers officiating, and burial will be in the Manlius Township cemetery. Visitation will be Friday, Sept. 5, 2008 from 6-8 p.m. and on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. till service time.
