Roger A. Boerigter, age 61, of Hamilton passed away Saturday, May 24, 2014, with his loving family by his side. Born April 9, 1953 in Holland, Michigan, he was the son of Milton and Elaine (Sternburg) Boerigter. Roger was an outdoorsman, who loved wildlife and nature. Roger is survived by his wife of 31 years, Roxy J. Boerigter, sons Ben Boerigter and Will Boerigter all of Hamilton, father, Milton and Carolyn Boerigter of Holland, mother, Elaine Boerigter of Wyoming, MI, brothers Dean Boerigter of Hamilton, Thomas and Jill Boerigter of Iowa and one sister Janet and Jerry DeFouw of Saugatuck, sister-in-laws Cindy Keller of Apollo Beach, Florida, Sandy and Rick Jepson of Clinton Utah, and many nieces and nephews. At his request cremation has taken place, and a celebration of life will be held at 10:00 a.m. on June 7, 2014 at the Hamilton Dam, with refreshments following at the Trestle Stop restaurant in Hamilton.
