Robert"Chester" Kemp, age 79 of Pullman, Michigan died Monday, May 7, 2012 at Grace of Douglas in Douglas, Michigan. He was born May 6, 1933 in Plant City, Florida. Robert married Margaret (Englemann) Kemp on June 2, 1957 in Watsonville, California. He and his wife lived in the Pullman area for over 50 years, and she preceded him in death Nov. 9, 2008. Chester was an Air force veteran and served from 1951 to 1954. He was a handy-man most of his life and worked many different types of jobs. Surviving is a brother, Phillip Kemp of Texas, brother-in-law Wallace Millard, sister-in-law Christine Millard, and nephews, Charles Millard and Anthony Millard. At his request, cremation has taken place and no services will be held. Memorial donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
