Robert John Goebel, 82, of Douglas, Michigan, died Monday, July 19, 2004 at his home. He was office manager for Schoenly Interior Inc., of Birmingham prior to his retirement and was a member of the Detroit Institute of Arts. A veteran of the U.S. Army, he served in World War II. Surviving are his life partner, Oliver Weidokal of Birmingham. No Services are planned. Memorials may be made to the Humane Society. Arrangements are by Chappell Funeral Home.
