Obituary

Robert Ralph Cunningham, Age 90 of Fennville, died Saturday, Feb. 1, 2003, in Kalamazoo, MI. Born in Creighton, Nebraska, Feb. 19, 1912, to Andrew and Ellen Cunningham. Robert worked for Baker Furniture in Holland, retiring in 1975. He attended Community Church Douglas, and was a member or the American Legion and the Flywheelers association. He was also a U.S. Army vetera, earning a purple Heart in WW II. He was preceded in death by His wife Helen, two brothers George and Ervin, and one sister Jessie Walker. Surviving are one daughter Janet and Lee Brown of Portage, MI: one sister, Claradine Gleason of Saugatuck: four brothers, Oliver and Pat Cunningham of Las Vegas, Eugene and Mildred Cunningham of Bloomington, Minn., Ralph and Darlene Hollander and John and Joyce Hollander all of Fennville. Also three Granddogs Cassie, Maggie, and Linus. Services are Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2003 at Community Church Douglas, MI , at 2:00 PM, with the Rev. Dennis J. DeWitt and Dr. Daniel N. Miller Officiating. Visitation will be 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday Feb. 4, 2003 at the Chappell Funeral Home Fennville, MI. Memorials may be made to Rose Arbor Hospice, 5472 Croyden Ave. Kalamazoo, MI 49009 or Community Church Douglas.
