Richard J. Reimink, age 91 of Fennville, Michigan passed away Friday, January 27, 2017 at Golden Orchards in Fennville. Born April 25, 1925 in Fennville, Richard was raised and lived on the family farm all his life. He was the son of Fred and Rissa Reimink, and was raised by Henry and Kay Dykhuis. Richard was a crane operator and worked in construction for many years. Richard was a member of the Ganges Baptist Church, he enjoyed farming, gardening, bee keeping, spending time with his friends at the local restaurants, and spending time and taking care of his dogs Abby and Sparky. He was preceded in death by his wife Lorraine on December 13, 1996, his daughter Susan on August 19, 1999 and three brothers Herman, Chuck and Leon Reimink. Richard is survived by his son Edward and Cindy Reimink of Fennville and nephews and cousins. Visitation will be Monday, January 30, 2017 from 2-4 and 6-8, with funeral services 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, January 31, 2017 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI. Officiating will be Rev. Thomas Case of the Ganges Baptist Church.
