Richard Nagy, 78, of Fennville, Michigan passed away on Monday, October 27, 2014 surrounded by family at Holland Hospital. Born March 1, 1936 in Elkhart, Indiana, he was the son of John and Helen (Szucs) Nagy. Richard was a dedicated Farm Manager for H.D. Hudson Farms for 41 years, running and operating the Centennial Farm in Fennville, Michigan. He was a member of the Michigan Flywheelers club, with a passion for restoration and preservation of antique tractors. A dedicated family man, who had so much love for his family and friends. In the community of Fennville, many lives were touched with Dicks desire to help out a neighbor or lend a helping hand. He is survived by his wife, Virginia Nagy; and children, Anne Nagy, JoLene Nagy (Peter), Kim Harrington (Denise), Kevin Harrington (Lori), and Kristin Little (John), Brother Jim Nagy, and many beloved grandchildren, great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Richard was preceded in death, by his daughter Jeanne E. Skinner, brother, John Nagy, and sister, Helen Tarr. Visitation will be Wednesday, October 29, 2014 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm, and funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Thursday, October 30, 2014 at the Chappell Funeral Home Fennville, MI. Officiating is Pastor Thomas Case, and burial will be in the Taylor Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the Ganges Baptist Church, the National FFA, or the Michigan flywheelers.
