Rex A. Stick, Sr. age 88 of Holland passed away at Lakeside Vista in Holland, Michigan, on Thursday, October 30, 2014. Born January 16, 1926 in Madison, Wisconsin, he was the son of Jacob L. and Helen (Bernhard) Stick. Rex was a U.S. Navy veteran, he started and ran his own manufacturer's representative firm specializing in sporting goods for over 30 years. In 2002 the family moved to Holland to enjoy Michigan year round. Surviving is his wife, of over 65 years Cecil J. Stick of Holland, a daughter, Susan L. Stick of Saugatuck, sons, Rex A. Stick Jr, of Holland, Charles J. Stick of Charlottesville, Virginia and a grandson, Andrew Cronin Stick of Lansing, Michigan. Visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday, November 2, 2014, at Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m. Monday, November 3, 2014 at Grace Episcopal Church 555 Michigan Avenue, Holland, Michigan, with the Rev. Jennifer Adams officiating.
