Ray Hurtman, age 62, of Fennville, passed away Tuesday, November 19, 2013 at the Holland Hospital. Born October 20, 1951 in East Prairie, Missouri, he was the son of Alvin and Macie (Palmer) Hurtman. Ray was a member of The Rock Church in Kalamazoo, MI, the South Haven Moose Lodge, and a life member of the North American Hunting Club. He was preceded in death by one brother Larry Hurtman and one sister Diane Murphy. Ray is survived by his wife Sheri Hurtman, son Tim Hurtman, of Holland, Son Robert Kasten, of Nashville, TN, grandchildren; TJ Hurtman, Daniel Hurtman, Brittney Miller, sisters; Regina and Jr. McCoy of Arkansas Merilyn Masterson of Bangor, MI, and brother John and Brenda Hurtman of Mississippi. Visitation will be Friday, November 22, 2013 from 5-8 p.m. Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, November 23, 2013 at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI.
