Rachael June Hardy, age 33, of Fennville, Michigan passed away Monday, February 08, 2016 at her residence after her 2 year battle with Cancer. Born April 22, 1982 in Kalamazoo, Michigan, she was the daughter of Daniel Hardy and Evelyn (Fasig) Grigg. Rachael owned and operated RJ Vending and Rending for many years. She was very active in the community as a member of St Stephen's Episcopal Church in Plainwell and Good Shepherd Episcopal Church in Allegan. Rachael competed at the Michigan Special Olympics in many different events over the years. She is preceded in death by her father Daniel Hardy, twin sister Rebecca Ann Hardy, and her grandparents Waldo and Violet Fasig. Rachael is survived by her mother Evelyn Grigg of Fennville, step-father Claude Grigg of Fennville; Siblings, Renee and William Hartman of Gary, IN, George Gounaris of Erie, PA, Christine and Tony Snyder of Allegan, William and Christy Hardy of Fort Wayne, IN, Samantha Hardy of Fennville, AJ and Jamie Hardy of Fort Wayne, IN; 15 nieces and nephews, and 14 great nieces and nephews. Memorial donations may be made in Rachael's name to Special Olympics MI Area 12, 590 Huizenga Avenue Zeeland, MI 49464. A Visitation will be held on Thursday, February 11, 2016 from 5-7 p.m. with funeral services starting at 7:00 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W.
