Perry Junior Hicks, 57, of Holland, Michigan died Sunday, December 16, 2007 at Holland Community Hospital. He was born on September 12, 1950 in Marked Tree, Arkansas. His parents were John Willie Hicks and Betty (Hinman) Hicks. He worked as a laborer for Western Foundry in Holland, Michigan for 29 years. Surviving are his wife, Thelma E. Hicks of Holland, Michigan; three sons, Perry Hicks, Jr. of Alabama; Anthony & Kimberly Hicks, and Michael & Emily Hicks all of Holland, Michigan; eight grandchildren; two brothers, David & Ann Hicks and Harold & Deanna Hicks; sisters, Joyce Moore, Panzy and John Mooneyhan, Bonnie and Ramone Chavez, Shirley and Jim Murphy, Cynthia Covington, Margaret & Tom Owen, and Linda & Glenn Parsons. Visitation will be Wednesday, December 19, 2007 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at the Chappell Funeral Home, 637 W. Main St., Fennville, Michigan. Services will be Friday, December 20, 2007, ll:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mary Hoots officiating. Burial will be in Manlius Cemetery. Memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or American Heart Association.
