Patricia Janice (Usiak) Rummer, 77, of Fennville went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, July 17, 2019. Born November 26, 1941 in Shelby, she was the daughter of the late Samuel and Mildred (Danicek) Usiak. She married Claude Rummer on June 18, 1966 and they enjoyed fifty-three years of marriage. Pat was an active member of St. Peter Catholic Church where she was the leader of the prayer chain and organized funeral luncheons. She was a graduate of Baker College and had worked as an executive secretary for Anaconda Laboratories. She also worked as an off-campus education secretary at Central Michigan University. Above all else, she will be remembered as an outstanding wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her husband of 53 years, she is survived by her children, Christine (Brian) Hren and Catherine Rummer; sisters, Mary (Terrance) Flynn and Margaret (Ronald) Lee; and grandchildren, Madison, Caleb and Olivia Hren. The family will receive friends at St. Peter Catholic Church on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 9:00 AM until 11:00 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 11:00 AM with The Very Rev. Fabio Garzon, VF officiating. Graveside services will take place at 3:30 PM at Our Lady of the Assumption Cemetery in Rothbury. Flowers are welcome or memorial contributions may be made to the Arthritis Foundation or the St. Peter Catholic Church Building and Maintenance Fund.
