Obituary

Norman Charles Watts, age 93, of Pullman, Michigan died Friday, March 2, 2012 in Pullman. Born March 7, 1918 in Allegan County, he was the son of William and Martha (Miller) Watts. Norman retired from Pullman Industries after 33 years. Norman was a league golfer at Chesher Hills Golf Course where he was a member. He was married to Thelma Watts who preceded him in death in 1979. Norman was then married to Jean (Irey) Watts and they were members of the Pullman Congregational Church. She preceded him in death in 2006. He is survived by his daughter, Dianne and John Schull, Jr. of Three Rivers and son-in-law Lowell Winne, Sr. of Fennville; step-sons: Rick and Colleen Irey and Patrick and Patti Irey; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; sister Dona Boyle and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his daughter Nancy Winne and his sister Dorothy Warren. Visitation will be Monday, March 5, 2012 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm at the Chappell Funeral Home 637 W. Main St. Fennville, MI with the funeral services following at 1:00 PM. Officiating will be Pastor Bob Pumfrey. Memorial donations may be made to Pearl United Methodist Church or the Salvation Army.
