Nora E. Martin, 85 of Fennville, died Wednesday, April 9, 2008 at her daughters home. Born Feb. 22, 1923 in Melrose, Arkansas, the daughter of Luther Collins and Nancy (Patterson) Collins she married Daniel Hugh Martin, he preceded her in death in 1978. Nora was a homemaker and lived in the Fennville area the past 29 years. She is survived by her children, Danny and Karen Martin of Fennville, Judy and Allen Harris of Grand Haven, and Brenda Byrne of Fennville, four grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren and 1 brother Edward Collins of Locust Grove, Arkansas. She was also preceded in death by one grandson, one sister, and four brothers. At her request cremation has taken place, and private family services will be held.
