Nellie Ray Barnhill, 86 of Fennville, died April 18, 2004, in Arkansas. Born in Snowball Arkansas, she had lived in the Fennville Area for the past 52 years. She was employed by H.J. Heinz Co. for 21 years, retiring in 1979, and she was a member of the New Richmond Baptist Church. She was preceded in Death by her husband, A.C. Barney Barnhill May 12, 1997; and two sons, Kenny and Daniel Barnhill. Surviving are her children, Morris and Edith Barnhill of Louisiana, John and Pat Barnhill of Holland, Jesse and Vivian Barnhill of Arkansas, and Lester and Mary Barnhill of Hudsonville; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sister, Marcello Clayton of Pine Top, NC. Services are 1 p.m. Friday, April 23, 2004 at New Richmond Baptist Church, with the Pastors Audley Boeve and Frank Senters officiating. Burial will be in Manlius Cemetery. Visiting is 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, April 22, 2004 at the Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the New Richmond Baptist Church.
