Nathaniel Luis Hernandez, age 14, of Fennville, died Thursday, Jan. 7, 2010 at Holland Hospital. Born January 30, 1995, he was the son of Pedro and Dalia Hernandez. Nathaniel was a member of San Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church. A Freshman at Fennville High School, he was a member of the Fennville Varsity Wrestling Team, and enjoyed playing soccer, he attended Upward Bound Trio at Hope College where he was on Student Council, and was a teenage Dating Violence Spokesman. Surviving are his parents Pedro and Dalia Hernandez, brothers; Martin Gabriel Callejas Jr. and Pedro Miguel Hernandez Jr. all of Fennville, sister Adelina Hernandez of Holland, paternal grandmother Maria deLaPaz of Fennville, maternal grandmother Irma Castillo of Kalamazoo, also many cousins. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 12, 2010 from 2-9 p.m. at the San Felipe De Jesus Catholic Church in Pearl, MI, where a funeral mass will be 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 13, 2010.
