Mitchell Dale VanDyke, age 56, of Douglas, Michigan, formally of Holland and Fennville, Michigan passed away Monday August 24, 2015 at his home after a short illness. Born September 5, 1958 in Holland, Michigan he was the son of Roger and Myra (Brower) VanDyke. He attended West Ottawa Schools and worked in the asphalt business. Mitchell is proceeded in death by his parents and father-in-law Duane Emmons. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years Vicki; mother-in-law Shirley Emmons; brothers David (Sally) VanDyke, Lon (Linda) VanDyke; brother-in-laws Carl Emmons, and Alan Emmons; sister-in-law Linda Streur; several nieces, nephews, and loving friends. A memorial service will be held on Monday August 31, 2015 at 1:00PM at New Richmond Baptist Church, 1909 Transport Lane, Holland, Mi. 49423, with Pastor Frank Senters officiating with burial taking place at Restlawn Memorial Gardens in Holland immediately following.
