Mitchell Ray Kellum, age 65, of Fennville, died suddenly, Thursday, September 1, 2011 at his home. Born July 12, 1946 in Hornersville, Missouri, he was the son of Junior and Helen (Acree) Kellum. He lived in the Fennville area for many years, working for Ralph Meyers Trucking of Allendale. Surviving is his son, Erick M. Kellum of Fennville, a step-son, Donald Wood of Kansas; best friend Kari Wood of Fennville, brothers; William and Sandy Kellum of Greenville, Michigan, Gary and Rose Kellum of Fennville, Michigan, David and Donna Kellum of South Haven, Michigan, and Terry and Corie Kellum of Whitehall, Michigan, sisters; Marilyn and Burleigh Wellman of Charlotte, Michigan, Vicki L. Wilson of Holland, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his brother, J.T. Bradshaw and parents, Junior and Helen Kellum. Memorial donations may be made to the American Lung Association. A memorial service will be held at the Fennville VFW Post, 2373 53rd Street, Fennville, Michigan on Saturday, September 10, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. with a luncheon immediately following the service.
